Good Morning!!

I slept very well after 35 hours awake. I couldn't have sweet dreams the day before night, I mean morning. I went to a meeting and work without any sleep and I was exhausted. But it wasn't a bad day at all.

I had a really good news. My iPod came out from my trouser pocket! Yes!! I couldn't be happier at that time. How  simple I am. But see? Next day of a bad day, should be a good day and it was. And I proved that bad days make good days. Don't you think? Hmm, it's better to have good days without bad day, but life is not as easy as that.  And it is called Up And Down that make our life more fun, interesting and spicy!

Uh, it is way too serious. It is a great song though, I'm talking about him, my love.

I'll keep holding on.

Sometimes, there are times I can not sleep

Today wasn't a very good day. First of all, I lost my i pod. My plan for night was canceled. And now I can not get to sleep, besides I have meeting from this morning.  I know life goes up and down.  Tomorrow should be a good day. Good night. Uh, it is already morning though. I hope I can have sweet dreams for 2 hours. sigh.

A Nice Day In Spring

Spring! It's the season for cherry blossoms. Japanese loves going to see them and having party under the trees. It's called お花見-ohanami and naturally I love it. So I went for it 4 times in this season :D

The day that I went for ohanami to the park with Jasmine was so chilly. But we bought a little picnic sheet to sit and have a chillaxing afternoon under the cherry blossoms. We bought some food from stales. This is maybe one of the reason that I like ohanami so much, a lot of stalls show up. I got shirokoro horumon, beef innards, again.

But it was chilly. We gave up after 10 mins. Then  we run into Japanese green tea cafe.

I love Japanese green tea! It's bitter but tasty. Real green tea is without any sugar so it's also healthy♡

And then, eating after eating, the day's main event, TAKOYAKI! I guess it's one of the best Japanese food. You can buy them from stalls but we made it by ourselves.

It was yam! So Yam yam yam that we were happy :)

We went to club Red afterwards.

The Last Day

I want to finish it. I want to finish writing about the trip to New York... It's been 2 months since I came back. But I can't. I can not finish it until I write about what happened on the last day.

So, we enjoyed NY till completely knocked ourselves out. We were exhausted and time went so fast. We felt time is flying. Our trip was 5 nights 7 days. But yes, it was so quick. We had done too many things, well, mainly shopping, but still it wasn't enough. However the last day came up.

On the day before last day, we went clubbing since it was Friday night. It was our last night in NY. The place wasn't really packed even it was Friday night though. After that we started packing and believe me, after big big shopping, it was tough. We were supposed to have some sleep but we couldn't. It took a few hours actually and each of our luggage got extraordinary heavy. We had to carry 3 of them and some heavy extra bags to the down stairs using stairs from 4th floor since the hotel doesn't have an elevator. A bellboy helped us after one but he was also struggling.

We checked out the hotel, called a taxi and headed to the airport. In the taxi, we felt sad and sentimental to go back to Japan and normal life. We had so much exciting time. I wished I could stay longer. We said bye to our New York City.

After we got to the airport, we had to check in flight naturally, but it took time. Sometimes the check-in-machine irritates you. We couldn't check in. We asked to a staff but we were sent around from one to another. After some staffs, we found out the problem. The female staff said, "Your ticket is for tomorrow. " Wonder left us speechless. "Surprise!" Cheerfully she said.

I couldn't believe what I heard. We misunderstood the date and day at some point. I mean we believed the day was Saturday but actually it was still Friday. What a surprise! Looking back now, there was full of strange things. First of all, the hotel's receptionist had mentioned when we check out that we were leaving a day early. But we had no doubt about it and thought we booked wrongly. We had never thought that we were misunderstanding the day! Besides, and club that was supposed to open that day was closed, a museum that supposed to close was open and so on... How stupid we were! It was like a nightmare. Now it makes sense that we felt time went too fast.

I was at my wit's end. We already checked out the accommodation, and we were running out of money. We called the hotel and the receptionist was laughing because it happened even though she mentioned earlier. But thank her, we managed to go back to the hotel. And also we could afford a taxi to go back somehow.

It was awkward. We went back same way that we said bye to the city. The hotel's staffs were laughing at us and the bellboy had to bring up our extraordinary heavy 3 lagguages to 4th floor again.

Well, on the last day, other 2 girls were exhausted after dinner but I went out for clubbing by my self for real NY Friday night! It was packed.

Good bye NY photo at the hotel's lobby on the Friday we thought

Encounter

We did some more things in New York.

We went to Broadway to see a show. It was hard to pick one but we choose classic musical, Mamma Mia.
To be honest, it wasn't that attractive for myself at first and I had rather see other modern musical as I am not very interested in ABBA and thought it was too old fashioned. But actually I was wrong. You should not hold it cheap. After the show, I couldn't stop singing songs of ABBA on the street since I turned into a dancing queen! Well, I'm susceptible to influence. Classics are always the best!
Meanwhile I & Eri were really into the musical, there was a girl sleeping very peacefully bought a  $70 ticket right next to us. It was Mina.lol  We woke her up but it didn't worked. We talked about our favorite scenes after the show and Mina's was the scene big moon was on the stage that was the last of last of the show. Such a lovable girl!

My most important thing when I go to abroad is going clubbing. But it is hard to find out good clubs in abroad. We searched for it beforehand on the internet and got lost. Then we met a guy wearing a very big black hat in a subway told us how to get the place. And he also recommended us a good club that he was going to that night. The place was called "BAR 13" and the music was drum'n' base which I don't really listen to usually. So we decided to go to the hip-hop and R&B club that we were supposed to go. We said thanks and bye to him, and headed to the place.

But there was a trouble we couldn't get in. We didn't understand and know why, the doorman just said "Today is a private party, you won't be able to get in." even though we searched for the party on the internet.  We depressed after all the way through. We thought going back to the hostel but it's a New York night. We made up our mind to go to "BAR 13". It was right decision for me.

There was a small club has 2 floors and full of interesting people. And we met the black hat guy again and thanked him again. We, well, mainly I, because other two girls are not really in to music actually, had a great fun at the place even there wasn't my type of music. In reality it was the best night in New York for me. I went to other 2 clubs during the trip but Bar 13 was the best since it was proper local New York club, and people all loved music.

Other two were also fun and playing hip-hop which I love, but it was something different. The place was too big and packed but I felt people in there weren't look happy and love music. It was what just I felt. But feelings are vital. Bar 13 has much better atmosphere. And think about how I got to the place. Meeting people means something. People you meet during trips always lead you somewhere or something you need. I really feel that and believe that.
