Encounter

We did some more things in New York.

We went to Broadway to see a show. It was hard to pick one but we choose classic musical, Mamma Mia.
To be honest, it wasn't that attractive for myself at first and I had rather see other modern musical as I am not very interested in ABBA and thought it was too old fashioned. But actually I was wrong. You should not hold it cheap. After the show, I couldn't stop singing songs of ABBA on the street since I turned into a dancing queen! Well, I'm susceptible to influence. Classics are always the best!
Meanwhile I & Eri were really into the musical, there was a girl sleeping very peacefully bought a  $70 ticket right next to us. It was Mina.lol  We woke her up but it didn't worked. We talked about our favorite scenes after the show and Mina's was the scene big moon was on the stage that was the last of last of the show. Such a lovable girl!

My most important thing when I go to abroad is going clubbing. But it is hard to find out good clubs in abroad. We searched for it beforehand on the internet and got lost. Then we met a guy wearing a very big black hat in a subway told us how to get the place. And he also recommended us a good club that he was going to that night. The place was called "BAR 13" and the music was drum'n' base which I don't really listen to usually. So we decided to go to the hip-hop and R&B club that we were supposed to go. We said thanks and bye to him, and headed to the place.

But there was a trouble we couldn't get in. We didn't understand and know why, the doorman just said "Today is a private party, you won't be able to get in." even though we searched for the party on the internet.  We depressed after all the way through. We thought going back to the hostel but it's a New York night. We made up our mind to go to "BAR 13". It was right decision for me.

There was a small club has 2 floors and full of interesting people. And we met the black hat guy again and thanked him again. We, well, mainly I, because other two girls are not really in to music actually, had a great fun at the place even there wasn't my type of music. In reality it was the best night in New York for me. I went to other 2 clubs during the trip but Bar 13 was the best since it was proper local New York club, and people all loved music.

Other two were also fun and playing hip-hop which I love, but it was something different. The place was too big and packed but I felt people in there weren't look happy and love music. It was what just I felt. But feelings are vital. Bar 13 has much better atmosphere. And think about how I got to the place. Meeting people means something. People you meet during trips always lead you somewhere or something you need. I really feel that and believe that.

We Were The Girls

Having good jobs, good parties, enough money, their own ways, attractive boys and beautiful life. They had been my dream girls.

The series "SEX AND THE CITY" was one of my reason to go to New York. So we took a tour! We went to many of the place that the drama filmed but some of place we couldn't recognize. Let me put some pics...

Carrie and Miranda's favorite cupcake shop♡
The cupcake was sweet and yum!!

Library that Carrie and Mr. Big were supposed to have a wedding

The wedding scene
Here is the Carrie dropped her mobile in shock!

We went to eat at Buddakan where Carrie and Big had wedding party.

And we went City Bakery other day.

Carrie's house and satisfied lowbrow girls!!

It was so much fun! It made me feel want to watch the whole series again :) But we had not realized that we were making the biggest mistake, and shocking happening was waiting for us by that time... To be continued...?!lol

The Big Apple

It's been a quite long time since I posted last one. The laziness was disturbing me... Is still some one here?! Anyways, thanks for coming back. Well, OK, so, I went to the city. The Big Apple!!

We were three of us. I and two girls Mina and Eri. They are my good friends since we were in high school. First of all, I was surprised that the city was so city. I mean,  I've been to some cities like  Tokyo, London, L.A. and more. But it was the urbanest city I have ever seen. Skyscraper, neon lights, it was exactly what the most people imagine the big city. Especially the night scene from one of the highest building in the city called Top Of The Rock which is on the top of Rockafeller Center was incredible. That worth calling a million dollar view!

Times Square at night

Night view and Empire State Building from Top Of The Rock

We went big shopping there. Actually, THEY did mainly. Shopping after shopping.  Especially Mina, I rather say she went insane at that time.  It was first time to going abroad for her and she got too excited. Cosmetics, clothes, shoes, and so on... She spent about 400,000 yen for shopping which is more than 4,000 dollars. The end of the travel, we had to stop her because her baggage was getting too heavy to check it to the airplane. But she didn't regret after she came back so guess she had so much fun shopping :) I saw real girls power!

Shopping for a day

Talking about girls stuff, we took a tour. Sex And The City Tour!! I'll write about it next time. x

NEW YORK, NEW YORK

I finally finished work to do in January. It was a quite tough month. But it has finished now. The next plan is coming.

Going to New York★★★

YYYYes!! Finally!! It's a week trip for the first time going to there. So excited!! I have always dreamed it since I came across "Sex And The City".

Awesome series for girls! Every single girl who has watched the series must had empathized with Carry Bradshaw. I laughed with her and got hurt with her. She is a celebrity, but she feels like what every girls do. And I love the atmosphere in the series. Fabulous fashion, Girls talk, party in the city. I'd like to put my hand up and say "TAXI!!" with a cup of coffee in the other hand. I probably will :)

So now I'm considering what to bring to New York! I'm gonna fly in a week. I wonder how cold it is. Snowy? I guess I need some warm clothes. I should start packing. Let me get some motivation. Must listen to this.

But here is another must song for New York.

Legend. Too cool. R.I.P. Tokona-X!

Heeey, What's up, New York!!

It is waiting for me. ...I Can't wait!!

A Day Woke Up A Bit Early

I woke up a bit earlier than usual. Normally I get up 1:00pm or later. But today it's 11:00am :) I should go to work earlier but blogging :D

I haven't written about my resolution of 2012 yet. So let me think about it... Actually, I had been thinking. I came up with some ideas and the main of it would be TO BE CONFIDENT.

I think I always care something too much. In a not very good way. I care what people think. But it doesn't really make things better, does it? I need to trust myself a bit more and shouldn't care what people say. I don't feel like I'm grown enough, but it's time to be a grown woman.

Other resolutions are like saving money, studying English and waking up early... it's pointless waking up early and blogging though :D But could it be a part of studying English? Hmm, yes, I guess so.

Anyways, I don't care what people saaaay♪ ....In a positive way!!

It's A Small World

My Canadian sister Joanna is leaving Japan.  Happy to meet new people, but it's so sad to see friends off. Especially when they live over the sea.

Another my friend Mai has gone to Italy a few days ago but it's different. I wasn't emotional at all because I know she'll be back. Since she's Japanese and her home is here. There is no guaranty though!

But seeing off someone who came from over the sea makes me so emotional. We might lose in touch, we might never see each other again. Of course I will not let it happen though still can't help thinking that.

This is a small world. Since we have the internet, Skype, facebook.... it's got smaller. Thank Steve Jobs or Bill Gates or whoever. We can keep in touch much easier. And I love travel around. Well,  the world is big enough to travel around :) So I guess should be happy for that I have my sister in Canada. So I will see her hopefully soon.

 I'll miss you so muuch!xoxo

Who's next Shaun White?

We went to snowboarding. I was as cool as Shaun White. Well, ok, in my dream. In reality, the only point in common we had was red hair that I dyed about a month ago.

We went to Washigatake Snow Park in Gifu. It was packed since it was January 3rd but it got me excited because I love snow! We hardly see snow in my hometown. When it is snowy, I always build a snowman nevertheless I'm adult enough 26! But not this time. Today's purpose is snowboarding!

It was my first ride for this season. Every first ride in a season I feel I stepped back. I feel like "Was I that bad?". Don't have enough courage to make the board straight, going down slowly as the board horizontally. Can you imagine how I looked now? It was difficult to explain how I was bad.lol

But by the end of the day, I felt like "Wow, I'm good!". Running downhill as flying. It was like a lightning. It doesn't matter how I looked. I'm talking about how I felt :P

I hope I get better soon! I'll try again at least once more in this season. It was sooo fun though I was in big muscular pain the next day.lol
